Lisseth Chavez

Biography

Lisseth Chavez (born May 25, 1989 in California) is an American actress with Salvadoran roots, known for her roles in series such as Chicago P.D., The Rookie, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Lisseth Chavez began her career as a model and made her first television appearance in 2009 on the reality show True Beauty. Her acting career developed through guest roles in well-known series to regular roles: The Fosters (2017–2018): As Ximena Sinfuego in 13 episodes; Chicago P.D. (2019): As Vanessa Rojas, a junior officer in the Intelligence Unit; DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2021): As Esperanza “Spooner” Cruz, a main role in seasons 6 and 7; The Rookie (2022–2025): As Celina Juarez, a recurring role over several seasons. She has also made guest appearances in series such as Lucifer, Grey's Anatomy, Shameless, S.W.A.T., Rizzoli & Isles, and Southland. In 2020, Chavez received an Imagen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Chicago P.D.
